QUALIFICATIONS:-
(A) AGE (as on 01.07.2011)
(i) Candidates should not be over 35 years.
(ii) Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe should not be over 40 years.
(B) EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
Candidates should possess the following qualifications on the date of Notification viz., 25.10.2011
1. Bachelor’s Degree of a Recognized University or a Degree of equivalent standard
(B.A. /B.Sc. / B.Litt.) with Tamil, English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry,
Botany, Zoology, History and Geography through 10+2+3 pattern.
AND
2. B.Ed. Degree of a Recognized University in the State of Tamil Nadu or a degree of
equivalent standard.
AND
3. Must have studied Tamil under Part – I or Part – II upto SSLC
Application Forms:
A. The Application Forms along with Prospectus and Syllabus for the written Competitive Examination can be obtained in person from 04.11.2011, from the Offices of the Chief Educational Officers in 32 Revenue Districts of Tamil Nadu on payment of Rs. 50/- in cash.
B. Candidates should use only the OMR Application Form. NO other form of typed or printer or photocopied application forms will be accepted and such applications, if any will be summarily rejected.
C. Submission of Application Forms online or by post or fax is not accepted by the Teachers Recruitment Board.
D. Application Forms will not be accepted after 5.30 p.m. on 19.11.2011.
