HOW TO APPLY

(iv) Against the above-said Challan, the candidate should make the payment of fees in any of the Bank of India branches on or before 16.01.2012.

(v) Once the payment of fees is made, the concerned branch will give him a Transaction No.

(vi) Before applying online a candidate will be required to have a scanned (digital) image of his photograph and signature as per the specifications given on the website.

(vii) Candidates should first scan their photograph and Signature, ensuring that both the
photograph and signature are within the required specifications. If the size of the file is
more than the specified limit then adjust the settings of the scanner.

(viii) Candidates are now ready to Apply Online by re-visiting the Bank’s website and going to the sublink to open up the appropriate Online Application Format.

(ix) Candidate should visit again our website www.bankofindia.co.in under the caption
“Recruitments / Career” and should fill up the application available by clicking on Page
No.15 of the Notice on our website.

(x) Transaction No. should be correctly filled in the application at appropriate place (This
is not applicable for SC / ST /PWD /EX-SERVICEMEN Candidates).

(xi) Application should be checked and after verification be submitted by clicking to submit button.

(xii) Application should be printed with photo and signature, to be kept ready for submission at the time of interview at the Interview Venue.

(xiii) You should note / remember your Registration No. and Password for future reference and use.

(xiv) Please note that the above procedure is the only procedure for applying. Physical mode of application or incomplete application would not be accepted and if submitted such application would be rejected outright.

Age : Shall not be more than 34 years as on 01.12.2011. Upper age limit will be relaxed up to 5 years for SC/ST/BC candidates and 10 years in respect of physically challenged (Handicapped)candidates.

Special instructions to the candidates appearing for the written test:
a.It is hereby decided to introduce hereafter Carbonless OMR Answer Sheets in Duplicate in place of Single OMR Sheet in the written test.
b.The candidate has to use Ball Point Pen (Blue/Black) for filling up of all blocks including bubbling the answer etc. in the OMR Sheet.
c.The candidate has to hand over the original OMR Sheet to the invigilators in the examination center and are however, permitted to take away the duplicate OMR Sheet after conclusion of the examination. If any candidate in violation of the above instructions takes away the original OMR Sheet his/her candidature to the recruitment will be rejected besides invocation of penal provisions including debarment of the candidate for all future recruitments to be conducted by the APGENCO.

3.Candidates belonging to other States Should pay an amount of Rs.500/-(Rupees five hundred only) (non-refundable) (Rs.350/- towards examination fee and Rs.150/- towards application registration fee)

The applicant should pay the prescribed “Registration Fee” in any one of the A.P.Online Centers or A.P. Online Portal and obtain the “receipt” having paid the “Registration Fee” with “Journal Number” [12-Digit] in the first instance. The applicant
can register their application only with Journal Number. The last date for payment of “Registration Fee” is 13.00 Hours of 03.01.2012 and submission of filled in application is 23.59 Hrs of 03.01.2012.

7. Selection Procedure:
A. Written test will be conducted in the following manner.
Section A : Questions on core academic curriculum of respective discipline. The syllabus for the examination is shown in the Annexure.
Section B : Questions on analytical aptitude.
B. The minimum qualifying marks in the written test shall be for OCs - 40%, BCs -35%, SCs, STs and Physically challenged - 30%.
C. Only those candidates who qualify in the written examination by being ranked high, community wise will be selected as per rules in vogue.
D. The candidates will be selected and allotted to Zones/Generating Stations as per their Rank in the merit list and as per zonal preferences for allotment of non-local
candidates against vacancies available. Selection shall be made on State Wide merit,in respect of non-local candidates and allotment to Zones shall be made as per the preference given by candidate in his/her online application, against the actual vacancies.
E. Candidates have to produce Original documents viz.Date of Birth Certificate,Educational Qualification certificate/s, community certificate, physical disability certificate (disability not less than 40%) issued by the concerned competent Medical Board, if any, study/residence certificate and other particulars for verification as and when required and called for. If the particulars furnished in the Online Application Form do not tally with the Original documents produced by the Candidates,his/her candidature will be rejected.
F. The persons already in Government Service/autonomous bodies/other Corporations etc., whether in permanent or temporary capacity or as work charged employees must take print out of the application after properly filled and get it endorsed by his/her employer and keep it with him/her ready, so as to, submit the same as and when called for.
G. The appointment of selected candidates will be subject to their being found medically fit in the appropriate medical classification.
