Name of Post: Forest Ranger
Age Limit: Candidates’ age must be between 21 to 35 years. Cutoff date for determining age limit would be 01-07-2012. (Age relaxations will be extended as per Govt. rules).
Educational Qualification: Candidates should be graduate with at least one of the subject of Agriculture, Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science, and disciplines of Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Forestry, Geology, mathematics, Physics or statistics.
Application Fee Details: General and OBC candidates need to pay Rs. 220/-(Rs. 150/- towards examination fee, Rs. 40/- towards postal charges and Rs. 30/- towards postal stamp) and SC/ST/PWD candidates need to pay Rs. 130/- (Rs. 60/- towards examination fee, Rs. 40/- towards postal charges and Rs. 30/- towards postal stamp). Candidates need to purchase OMR Application Form with the previously mentioned amount from major Post Offices of Uttarkhand. Candidates if later selected for the Main Examination will have to pay an additional amount of http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifRs. 250/- for General candidates, Rs. 100/- for SC/ST candidates belonging to Uttarkhand and Rs. 150/- for OBC candidates belonging to Uttarkhand.
Selection Process: Selections in UKPSC will be made on the basis of performance in Forest Ranger Exam (Preliminary) – FRE 2012 (Main Exam).
