The applicant must be a bonafide resident of HP.
2. The applicant should not be less than 18 years and not more than 45 years as on the last date of receipt of application. Provided further that the age is relaxable in accordance with the instructions issued by the H.P. Govt. from time to time.
3. No TA/DA will be payable to the applicant for appearing in written/viva voce test.
4. The appointment on contract basis will be initially for one year, which could be extended further depending upon the requirement of the services of such appointee. However, their services can be terminated even prior to the completion of contract period by issuing of one month notice or payment of one month wages in lieu of notice as per rules.
5. Contract appointees will not have any right to claim regularization or permanent absorption in the HPSEB.
6. The application form complete in all respects may be sent to the Executive Director (Pers.) Vidyut Bhawan, HPSEB Ltd. Shimla-4 on or before 31st October, 2011 & (15th November,2011) for candidates residing in Tribal & difficult area).
